I'd say that's a damn near text book example of a research that would benefit financially by promoting a particular view.

Seeing as to how they were funded by the company that makes the vaccine, it's likely such funding could have swayed the information presented or the way the study was conducted in order to align with their agenda. Obviously we can't deny the fact that the research could be heavily biased. However...

Judging from her credentials, and her being cited in other people's work as well, I'd say it seems like she's an expert in her field. So, there may very well be some merit to her findings.

I certainly don't intend to change my sex habits whatever the case though.

it is quite likely that with the biased perspective releasing your findings in an accurate yet deceptive method to state percentages and things instead of actual amounts of people estimated and use those figures to make a non issue seem like a much larger issue is where all that fun bias comes into play.

Its kinda like articles that came out like a decade ago saying that people age 60+ were the fastest growing group for contracting aids.
And it was a similar game - if 10 old people had aids and then 10 more got it. HOLY SHIT 100% MORE PEOPLE HAVE IT THEN LAST YEAR.

so lets just say this, having sex is dangerous, it gets the female pregnant, it can get the male aids, lets not forget anything you do during sex can get you infected =P exept if you're already infected.
