true, that first impression won't change, but at least he will do something positive in his life, that wig kissing is actually pretty perverted, I would never do something like this to Ika Musume, I would rather hug a doll instead, or manufacture my own series of Mini Ika Musume's and spread it like a virus, the cutest Virus to deliver death and damnation to mankind :D

*makes a note in his dark notebook for future reference :)*

I wonder how he will finally confront the two.

Poppo will be freaking out I think :D

Poppo was totally creeping me out in that scene...

No, either he wants to know that too or (what I believe is the right conclusion) he did that too on that fateful day. Of course, a lot more cheerful.

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

Yes, he did it the same way, almost, as he did on that day, as he let himself get caught up in the proposition Yukiatsu made, to recreate it. It wasn't creepy at all, everyone in this small group of "friends" so to say, want to help Jintan and probably themselves, to understand what happened, and also why Menma is  ... "favoring" jintan (not to say haunting cuz it's really not the same :D)

it is likely also because of the reason he yells at Jintan when he tries to run away: if it happens the same way, nothing will change.

Ok guys heres the deal. I finished up a really depressing ass show with a really sad ending a couple weeks ago. It seriously bummed me out. I even had trouble sleeping for a few days. Since then i havent wanted to watch anything tragic, messed up, or super dramatic. ESPECIALLY nothing with a bad end. I had been wanting to check this show out for awhile, ive actually been d.loading all the UTW and M33W episodes but havent really watched them. I played some random scenes from a few episodes and the show seems really interesting (Popo seems awesome!). I saw some out of context stuff that didn't make too much sense, but it seems like its a pretty heavy drama

Just wanted to check in on 2 things:
first: Is this a really heavy drama with some serious tragedy and adult drama in it? It seemed to have a weird mix of comedy and some heavier drama in the bits i saw. Would this be something to avoid at the moment if im trying to stay away from depressing shows?

Second: If i do see it, or when, whats the best sub group for this? Looking at those out id probably be going with UTW or M.3.3.W. I've found both groups work to be pretty good in the past. Is one better than the other for this series? I kinds dont want to have to watch them back to back, theres too many shows that im thinking of doing that with already and this old backup computer im on doesn't have much HD space. Note: i see    FroZen, but i think theyre a spin off of Frostii right? I didn't like Frostii at all after seeing their work on Spice and wolf

thanks. I REALLY want to see this and Dead Man Wonderland right now but i dont think theyre what i really should be watching at the moment. Especially Dead Man Wonderland if its anything like the friggin manga o_O

Not a heavy drama, but a drama indeed, if you want something light this is not it either, this show is kind of great because how it is pictured, and how the situation evolves.

I personally don't know what to think about Menma's age as a ghost or what ever she is atm.

I only wonder what will happen in a few days :)

I don't find Ano Hana to be very depressing. It is a drama, though. Not sure how to describe it.

certainly isn't too depressing yet (not on the order of a Clannad After Story or ef) but shows the potential to pull out the depressing stick at any moment!

my feel is that it is going to end up pretty positive in the end. but that may be wishful thinking.

I was really pissed off at the scene when they are walking back toghether home. . .and hes like "yeah i like you" and shes like "yeah youlike me as a bride" and shes like "if I would've grown up normally I would've been your bride" and then he stops and says "well . . .you . .."
and I got seriously pissed off at this guy wanting to spend the rest of his life with a ghost. . .I mean she can probably. . ."interact ;)" with him. . but c'mon!

Menma understand that perfectly, which makes me more serious about Menma actually being there to finish off what she wanted to do for Jintan in the past and then to make him get over her death and live on, probably with Anaru, but that is what I have been suspecting for a long time now.

Manly tears have been shed in the end, a very good ending, I only wish they kind of showed that Menma did eventually reincarnate and they somehow met her by some silly chance, that would be the most epic moment to make my cry a bucket's worth of tears :)

Last episode just hit today. 11 episodes in total. Did you guys enjoy this series? The rating is amazing on AniDB. 9.13 is very good. There are very few anime series out there that hit beyond 9.xx on AniDB. The first official review is 8.50. I'll be watching this as soon as UTW finishes it and gets a quick batch out there.

I definitely enjoyed it. I give it a 8.5 too. To me, this was the best of the season behind Hanasaku Iroha.
