wow, they did an amazing ending. . .for a sec there I thought they were going to have this dissapointing ending like most series have. . .but I must say wow!
I did made me feel warm and fuzzy near my eyes :P and . . .wow it was an amazing ending, I thought
(click to show/hide)
but they didnt, and it came out really good. . .specially with the "hide and seek" thing . . .pretty damn good!

Honestly, I wish that had happened. While overall the series was great, I just started laughing though at all the screaming and crying. While I did feel emotionally connected to the scenes, one particular scene
(click to show/hide)
got me to burst into laughter cause they were all crying like babies. All the screaming and crying really started to tickle my funny bone.

Great series, just the last episode seemed a bit over the top at points. Definitely a must have for me.
There's nothing here, because I'm too lazy to put something here.

One of my all time favorites now.

The ending was not a disappointment. It was very good.

Though, I would of added a few minutes at the end for "A few years later" where Jintan and Anaru's baby is born. (it would of added more meaning for when Menma kept going on about reincarnation)

Definitely a well done anime. props to the writer.

It's just as well they didn't show that. Their intention with those last scenes was not to give us a "Happily Ever After" for Jintan/Anaru and Yukiatsu/Tsuruko, but to give us a "Hopefully Ever After". What happens afterwards does not concern us, since the characters have gotten over Menma's death and have moved on.

I misread that and thought that there was a scene of that. . .I rewatched the last parts of the episode and didnt find it. . .only to come back and re-read it correctly :P

yes it would've added a little touch

No, that would have been too good, but showing Menma reborn would be nice, and showing them roaming somewhere nearby would do the final touch.

that would be an ending to another story though. this was more geared toward the overcoming of grief and loss, and the ending fit that theme. more than that might have been fulfilling in other ways, but would have been too much artistically.

Alright. Time to sit down and watch this anime. No censorship involved so no need to wait for the BDs.

Episode 1. UTW. Commence!

Finished. I think I've shed enough tears, large and small, through every episode for a whole day until like episode 9 or 10 where I couldn't shed anymore. I went to sleep and picked it back up at where I left off at episode 10 and finished it with more tears. Damn, this is really really good. Really good. Enough to make me watch it again and again.

This show was already great, but man did it punch me in the gut at the end. The emotional impact was even more than I anticipated and though it didn't make me cry buckets, it definitely touched me, if my eyes watering up is any indication of that.

Why did you explain that Kyrdua?
I though it was very clear what he meant.

^ Yes, it wasn't needed. But you didn't really need to point it out, Havoc...

I did have to point it out, all he had to do is ask for spoiler tag and not explain that which doesn't need an explanation.

And BDs should be around 22,07 if my memory serves from the in episodes announcements.

Fine, spoiler tags put in, happy now?

Though, can someone inform me of exactly why I need to do this when the episode has at least one subbed release? Is there a time limit I'm not told about, or do I have to wait till ALL fansubbers are out with their releases?

I would rather suggest waiting a week before stopping using spoiler tags.

That's just me though :)

"I'm playing hide and seek" hahahaa oh shit the drama.

I seriously thought someone else was going to die this entire series, the foreshadowing was just too thick for that possibility to slip by.

But i have to say, what an utterly shitty group of friends, are they telling me unless a miracle happened and it was only by the grace of this universe being naturally broken we would have ended up with another Bokura ga ita? Thats simply hilarious, whats even more hilarious is that Yukiastu has been popping up the most Yandere flags this season, the creep should go and join Kana in a coot de det.
