Yohan7:
yea,  this was pretty bad. (click to show/hide) and as it turns out both the coffee was what was spoiling her memory.  kind of sad that we aren't going to be able to see the movie untill 2014.  I will have completely forgot about how bad this show was and have to rewatch it  :-\ I hope the movie is worth it.

what was the meaning of the ending though (click to show/hide)how he shot saya's head and now she has to wear a eye patch? they ended up giving asuka in NGE:Rebuild  an eye patch as well.  are girls with eye patches sexy now in Japan or something. Also, If she has fast regeneration why does she even need an eye patch?

Havoc10K:
Maybe the eye got totally damaged and is not healing.

--- Quote from: dbml on September 30, 2011, 05:08:07 AM ---So the final episode has come and gone. Onto the glorious review! And yes, there are going to be massive spoilers.

(click to show/hide)So... final episosde. Gimuave guy is the one controlling everything. Everyone else in the entire town was a cast being paid by Gimuave guy. Apparently Saya isn't a human, she's like an evolved Elder Bairn who can only drink the blood of other Elder Bairns (and not humans), which is why they want her dead. BUT Gimuave guy was using her blood in order to control them, cuz her blood has some miraculous powers of persuasion over them or something. Riiiiight.

Anyways, so the main cast of characters: the twins, the goth chick, silent dude, prez and nurse are all actors with serious issues. They were all able to stay alive because of some ward Gimuave dude gave them. Except after they died the first time, the wards they were given were all fake. And everyone but the goth chick and prez gets slaughtered. Then later on prez jumps in to save Saya only to get riddled with bullets. Smart move. Goth chick is the only one of them to survive.

And Saya's father! Can't forget about him. He's a half breed and is super powerful, and was also under the control of Saya's blood. Bloody fight ensues. Saya wins! (Really? No ways!) But first she has to see "the light" and gain her super powers, which once again are not explained.

So back to Gimuave guy. Apparently he kidnapped Saya and made a bet with her. He was afraid of the Elder Bairns and her... and their power, but he wanted it badly. So the bet was that she would always remain "herself" even if everything around her, including her memories were altered. If she won, he would let her eat humans (she made a promise with someone else that she never would). If he won... was never given the answer to that. Sure, fine. Whatever. So he flees and hops in a helicopter... Saya comes jumping up to slice it in half, he pulls out a gun and blows half of her face off! And of course he says that the Gimuave was filled with human blood (I think? I forget)... that supposedly tasted just like human organs! Hooray for bloody organs!

Saya lies on the beach for a few days, her wounds festering and her body decaying. Oooh wait! Now she's fully healed except for her face! She gets up, creates a makeshift eyepatch and starts heading towards the city to find him... all the while the little dog in the background is talking about the one she made a promise with, was the dog himself. Okay? Can I get a WTF?

So with all that said, this was without a doubt the worst series I have ever finished. If this gets a sequel, I hope the production company burns to the ground so it never sees the light of day. Nobody needs to be subjected to the garbage that is Blood-C.

oho, very detailed review. it's as if i watched the rest of the series myself, ;D
but now, the title makes sense. i thought it was just some sort of bloodtype--wait, it is.

krumm:
The show is not good, but it is not as bad as everyone has been making it out to be.  The story direction is the problem not the story it self.  The show makes sense as a whole, but starts in the middle of a longer story.  With some back story and slight change in direction we would have had a lot better show.

from my observation the only thing people are actually complaining about here is the direction...
