The point of the story is clear, it doesn't have to be awesome for everyone, I liked it. It's obviously yet another version of the original manga which is still far away from from what is being done, but at the least I am entertained.

I'm going to hate on this shit series all I want to, thanks. You're delusional Havoc. Good to know you are capable of reading my mind and telling me why I dislike the series ::)

This was a failure on pretty much every level outside of the animation, which was top notch being Clamp. If it cut out the "Endless Four" in the beginning and actually attempted to develop the characters or the plot, maybe this could have gotten a 2/10 instead of a 1/10.

Wow. Finally. This BS of a series is over! The only good thing about this show was the final episode where the real Saya was shown...

It was Elder Bairn's blood. Not human.

Instead of making this shitty series and ruining the reputation of the Blood universe they should have kept to the movie! Rewrite somehow this shitty series so that it fits in some kind of prologue and include it in a longer version of the upcoming movie! This whole series was just some shitty promotion for the story in the movie! Godammit!

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

True, if they reversed the order, first the movie with what we had as a series, and then a series of what is going to happen in the movie and more, it would be a lot better, but I enjoyed this since I didn't expect anything from it :)
Just gonna watch the BDs for no censor on deaths for the lulz :)

kind of sad that we aren't going to be able to see the movie untill 2014.  I will have completely forgot about how bad this show was and have to rewatch it  :-\ I hope the movie is worth it.

what was the meaning of the ending though

So the final episode has come and gone. Onto the glorious review! And yes, there are going to be massive spoilers.

(click to show/hide)

So with all that said, this was without a doubt the worst series I have ever finished. If this gets a sequel, I hope the production company burns to the ground so it never sees the light of day. Nobody needs to be subjected to the garbage that is Blood-C.

oho, very detailed review. it's as if i watched the rest of the series myself, ;D
but now, the title makes sense. i thought it was just some sort of bloodtype--wait, it is.

The show is not good, but it is not as bad as everyone has been making it out to be.  The story direction is the problem not the story it self.  The show makes sense as a whole, but starts in the middle of a longer story.  With some back story and slight change in direction we would have had a lot better show.

from my observation the only thing people are actually complaining about here is the direction...

^ that's not a problem if you ask me. in fact, i'd say that's one of the few things they've done right here.
and yes, i'm reading the spoilers, as i've no plans on picking the series up again. the movie, maybe. but
i don't watch movies a lot in the first place.

Just done watching it myself.

I don't really like the story, but I do like the four or five last episodes because they were different from the monster-of-the-week approach. The blood was kind of off-putting for me so I don't think I'll need to watch the BDs even though "it's how the creators indented people to watch it."

All in all, regret watching it because it wasn't good enough to make me want to keep watching it other than my need to finish shows I've started. But then again, did enjoy the animation and the transition. I will be watching the movie though when it comes out. I don't think we'll need to wait for 2014 though, Yohan7.

I still think a TV show based on the Blood: The Last Vampire could've been better than this.

Now to spend some hours finishing No. 6.

I will watch the BDs for the gore, although I have no idea why it was censored, other than the purpose of making people buy BDs of course.

Guess the only reason left to watch this is because of animation from Clamp. Pity. An interesting story and a potentially good anime to turn out like this.

Guess this what you call messing up stuff/spoiling the good stuff.

wow I'll have to admit (i just watched the last episode)
It kinda fixed a little. . .the excess gore probably. . .

anyways it started out with a 7 or something in the first episodes then it dropped to like a 3. . .then it went up to like 8 when everyone died then it dropped to a 5 when you find out the real deal and the last episode gets a 9 for excess gore so I will rate this with a 7 overall. . .

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-05-29/blood-c/the-last-dark-film-1st-8-minutes-streamed

Even those 8 minutes were better than the entire series. Probably the only good thing about the movie though. Though if it's this epic fight to get to coffee-guy and kill the fuck out of him, then there's good chances I'll enjoy that. If it was like Kill Bill where she would move up the ladder killing everyone in his organization until he's the only one left... :D

I'm not sure how exactly he's going to defend himself against her, does he have a lot of henchmen?

Hah! Yeah it was, that's was kind of awesome. I honestly don't think the movie could be worse than the series though, considering how bad that was. So I'll probably get some actual enjoyment out of the movie... and not just for the lulz that the series gave me.

And the character design for the movie is from clamp too, right?

Cause I really wanna see clamp animation again in a anime/movie which is not.......well, terrible. :(

Looks refreshing, Production I.G and Clamp co-op.

if you ask me, too many 3D CG, but I guess it will work out somehow.
