:o Oh oh , i am for sure going to have to keep my eye out on this now to see what happens, much <3 for all the Nana stuff

That was not necessary.

It's only for a few files though and it's to .png which should keep quality intact. If anyone else wants to repack then it's fine. I originally intended it to be for my own archiving purposes anyway so I could be having small personal preferences with it. :)

Heh!  :D

Nice work!  I don't have the time I need right now to take on a project, unfortunately.  If there is some way I can support, I'll certainly jump on any suggestions or needs that crop up.

I did unpack all the copies I DL'd from the MU links, a total of about 750 MB.

In vol 2 I got a message on corrupt file:

 - Nana-v02p056.png

Which is missing about the bottom 20% of the image.

In vol 12 the *.zip is listed as corrupt, although I don't think it is since it unpacks nicely (l♥v me my 7-zip! ;) ).  The Nana_v12_c43.zip archive-within-archive gives a corrupt message for file

 - Nana_v12_c43_067.jp g

which is weirdly cropped compared to everything else, even though the image appears complete.

Volume 16 was marked as HQ .. and if it meant high-quality, it was hard to see the difference.  Seemed some of the details were better, better gray scale, but still 100 DPI resolution and ~870x1200 display resolution.

V's 17 & 18 marked as MQ, which I assume is medium quality ... can't tell the difference from the other volumes 1-15.  Still 100 dpi, but ~800x1200 display resolution.

So if anyone runs across anything that beats those, it would be nice.  From my quick run-through tonight, there is a LOT of lost detail in these scans.  Many places near-completely blacked out where there should be gray scale.  Readable enough, and some of the color scans sprinkled throughout look like they were given some extra loving care over the B&W pages.

My main complaint is that my eyes aren't so perfect anymore.  On my 22" 1920x1080 monitor, some parts were challenging to read where the typeset was tiny & thin, as well as other detail loss in the art.  If I were to scan these myself, I'd want to go 300 dpi all the way and a target display resolution of (at least) ~1200 x 1800 to improve readability and graphics quality for re-use in wallpapers & such.

If I were to organize this for a torrent, I'd suggest it download into a folder something like .\NANA_the_manga_[incomplete]\ and then each volume be its own *.zip archive, something like NANA_manga_v01.zip, etc., with each of those unpacking to the chapters .\NANA_v07_c23\ or .\NANA_v16_Nobu's_Story\ and such.  Perfectly happy with the filenames like Nana_v16_c60_137.jp g & Nana_v16_Nobu_229.p ng and such the way they are.  Fortunately, NANA is such a short name, the triple redundancy isn't nearly as annoying as a title with 7 words and 42 characters in it ...

I don't really have much else to add.  Well, except thanks for the work and enthusiasm, Kathy!  :)  I'm not going to search up & DL the other chapters.  I'll wait for them to be upped (as MU links or as a torrent)... unless ... there is actual work I can do to support the project.  Either ask here (I'll watch this topic for a while) or PM me directly, anybody.

I read through quite a bit of the later chapters as I spot-checked and am getting pretty excited to get all that remains of what's available.  Really caught on fire over Nana again and am stoked to review everything I've got as soon as I've got time.
