I think I only have one or two payments left. I dislike the shop after playing with it a while, disliking the core element of the game kind of ruins it. :)

Civilization. I know it's not an RPG. But any one of the Civilizations will take up a lot of your time... life. I got hooked on the first one when my uncle showed it to me years and years ago and... Best PC game I have ever played in my life thus far. No joke yo.

I supposed you enjoy quick time events as well? Because that is what already killed The Witcher 2 for me.

No, not really. :(
I mean, in Resident Evil 5 you practically had to die before you knew what combinations you had to do since there's so many combinations on a keyboard. I suppose it's possible to play through without dying on a controller since the buttons are so close.
I liked it in God of War, but not sure if it belongs in a role playing game. I guess we'll find out whether it was a good move or if they're making it plain retarded. Do you have a video where you can see it in gameplay?

Right there:

My problem is that when I see a cinematic, I want to lean back, relax and just see the cinematic. However what I obviously will get with Witcher 2 is a combat that immediately switches to a 5 second long cinematic that will feature a quick time event only to throw me just as suddenly without warning back to combat. That sure is annoying.
There is one thing many game developers learned: players hate losing control of their character. That is why respectable game developers tend to avoid stun locks and other elements where player feels like he is not in control. This is a good example of that feeling. I want to be in control for the entire battle.

AceHigh, have you played Heavy Rain? It's like that for basically every bit of the game and it was really a fun game. I usually hate games like that.
