Has a higher power (a.k.a. god(s)) ever tryed to kill you?

I nearly drowned in 3rd grade (in a pool, nonetheless), but was saved by my best friend at the time (although at the beginning he was laughing at me cuz he thought I was messing with him). Then a year or two later, I nearly drowned again (in the gulf of Mexico this time), but was held up by my hair by my step father til i was able to touch the ground. I don't like water.... :-\ water doesn't like me...

my fault, chrome had said i misspelt kraken and replaced it with Krakatoa. ;D
