Has a higher power (a.k.a. god(s)) ever tryed to kill you?

I believe that my life has been threatened multiple times. Luckily, I have remained unscathed!  
1 - A whole tree was dropped on me on a nice, cool, sunny day. It broke my bike, but I managed to jump out of the WAY in time.
2 - My go-cart stalled at the top of a hill going at about 25 mph, the brakes began to malfunction, turning to the sides was not an option (mailboxes, street signs, parked car, deep ditch, etc.) and heading toward moving traffic.
3 - A collapsing shed.
4 - A collapsing bookshelf with books and SHARP trophies on it.
5 - Falling through a crack on the school stage. (It was a crack, but then I made it a hole. The stage is elevated 8 feet off the ground.)

So, has your life ever been threatened?  

[Sidenote: I, personally, do not believe in god(s). I am agnostic, leaning toward atheism. However, the concept of religion and fantasy intrigues me!]

I think there's a thread already on the subject of near-death experiences, but I don't care enough to look it up.  I nearly got struck by lightning as a kid, but that's about as close to a wrath-of-God experience that I've gotten.  Not one I'd care to repeat.

Although, I have become increasingly convinced over the years that a Higher Power or two gain great amusement at my sufferings.  There are quite a number of times I should have been dead, but Something seems to keep pulling me out of it and then turning me loose again right on into the next brick wall.  I'm certain that I've heard Her laughing at me, more than once, through all the daze & pain ...

I nearly drowned in 3rd grade (in a pool, nonetheless), but was saved by my best friend at the time (although at the beginning he was laughing at me cuz he thought I was messing with him). Then a year or two later, I nearly drowned again (in the gulf of Mexico this time), but was held up by my hair by my step father til i was able to touch the ground. I don't like water....  water doesn't like me...
