I believe you're misunderstanding.
Chrome has a keyword system for the omni-bar (that's what it's called, iirc). This gets automatically set up as you use certain websites.
For example, I use Anidb a lot. After searching on anidb once, Chrome automatically adds the keyword for anidb.net. Now, if i want to search on anidb, I can type "anidb.net name of anime series here" and it automatically searches on anidb (not google). Of course, this keyword can be edited. If you're lazy, instead of anidb.net, you can use just anidb or even adb. Of course, you can always use tab-autocomplete. In my case, I just do that. I can type ani-[tab] and it is ready to search on anidb.
