It's not her talent that I feel bad for, you see, this show isn't done very well, but they can still put it on good tracks, when they do, it can be a really good show.

Nope, this show was doomed from episode 1. If a anime can't establish itself as half-way decent around episode one, and "average-good" at episode ~3-4, it's pretty much dead. A anime season is just too short and quick for a series to make a fatal mistake at the start.

Now that I think about it, the writers of this series were probably also the ones that did Index. J.C. Staff has been riding the Index wave too much; craziness and wtf with almost zero overarching plot may work for a series like that, but something like this requires delicate handling. Hopefully they've learned their lesson and do the next one better.

It all depends on the director, i also noticed that there was yet another pitiful senseless censoring of ... a bra ?? whence a moment later we see the bra in it's full glory ?

I hate it when they do this, pointless stuff, I can understand an overly detailed pantyshot that we see from time to time to be censored out, overly detailed yes, but something like this is seriously silly.

At any rate.
You may have a point there Xyresic, that said, are you still watching the show or just posting out of curiosity ?

I usually give a few eps for a show to get serious, simply because as of late years, none of the Anime shows are being done the way we would want them to be, with very few exceptions. (very, very few,)

The only reason I'm watching this show now is because of gg-lolsubs and the fact that it airs on Anime Thursday, the day that all the good shows air ([C], Denpa Onna, AnoHana, Maria†Holic).

The problem Maria†Holic is that it's a show filled with anime/Japanese culture no one usually gets. I won't lie, I hated the first season so much it got a 2 on my list. I also watched the first season when I only had ~50 series of experience.

However, after having ~200 series behind me now, I'm seeing some of the SHAFT brilliance.

The reason it failed for me was because "guy cross-dressing as a girl with sadistic needs = fail." It only got a 5 (I think) on my list, but i'm not going back to it. Same thing with MM! - Failed because of masochism.

As far as Hidan no Aria goes, episode 3 proved me wrong and now we're back to what I was expecting - guns. And more guns.

Maria Holic wasn't that bad, but I have no real desire to see a second season of it.

I'm balancing whether I want to take the time to download the 5th episode. My annoyance with the plot aside, I enjoyed the Grenadier-style gunfights, I'm just not sure it's worth the misery.

took me 457 series before i watched Last Exile. All i can say is Gonzo > Bones.

J.C staff has a pretty poor record with.. shoving girls n tits down our throats.
I only watched ep 1 yet could already tell everything was going to pander to that twin tailed bitch.

Dropped it after 6. Pure mediocrity. Even if episode 6 added my favorite character into the harem... still not enough. You'd figure lolis with guns (and swords!) would be pure win... but alas, that's not the case here.

it's why I skip their releases if possible, but with aria, they are trolling more than usually.
