Is water-cooled laptops possible? (and other cooling techniques)
kitamesume:
more like you`d wanna buy two seperate rigs, a decent low power laptop so it wouldnt overheat and a decent power desktop that could do anything you throw at it except predicting futures and such.
i just dont get why they want to play on laptops, they're meant to be portable, using a monster processor and gpu on it is too taxing to keep it portable, it`ll mostly last 1-2hours on battery imho.

That suitcase computer is pretty damn funny, good for you on making that! Neat to see what people use these days as computer cases ;D

That mouse right there is the best MMO mouse. I wouldn't be where I am right now without that mouse. Everything is literally keybinded and much easier. Previously I had things keybinded but they were harder to hit with shifting/alting/ctrling and all that crap. Considering my class as a Warrior for PvP and PvE, I use a lot of macros and I use all my abilities when needed in situations for both PvE and PvP.

I infact posted last that I don't really want to bring that lappy everywhere.
Besides what I really needed was an eBook reader and a "personal" computer not a lappy.
I don't want to really share stuff with my dad, he always get around of a lot of things. He (instead of doing relevant stuff like AutoCAD 'cuz that's what he supposes to do there) plays Red Alert 2 skirmishes. Hehe... That's why I would consider cooling techniques 'cuz I wanted the laptop to become my second PC for myself (cuz' from where I'm situated, I'm in the temperate country where overheating laptops are a pain in the ass)and so that I can do my VNs and comics without any disturbancies from my dad. ;D
But anyways It's nice that I bought this thread up! ;)

This is basically what it looks like after putting in only a "fake" watercooling kit (Corsair H50):

you can atually make this portable, with these following items:
i3-2100T SNB - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116394&Tpk=i3%202100T
ITX MB - http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128484&cm_re=LGA_1155_ITX-_-13-128-484-_-Product
GT 240 DDR3 Low Profile - http://www.galaxytech.com/en/productview.aspx?id=231
PicoPSU - http://www.amazon.com/M3-ATX-output-Robust-Intelligent-Automotive/dp/B003DXV9O2/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1302601173&sr=8-9
Laptop Batteries - http://www.amazon.com/8800mAh-Capacity-HSTNN-IB72-Pavilion-Presario/dp/B002CVHURQ/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1302601396&sr=8-7
buy two of the batteries and run them in series, when you charge it to full you`d get 22volts, the picopsu can handle 6v-24v so you wont have much trouble when the batteries are running low.
tho when charging the batteries, you need to take them out and charge them individually, yea hassle but its fun, for plugging your mobile desktop into a wall outlet, you need to disconnect the batteries too and plug anything that can supply a DC 6v-24v with enough wattage, maybe a laptop brick with 150W should be enough =D
you got your self a low power, low profile, compact rig that can be fitted into a small case 8)
