It's all about...glasses? Is this really possible? What about the prices :)

TMRNetShark:
If they have glass street directories... I'm gonna run into that shit for sure and shatter that.

Give me plastic things... unless the glass is very hard to break.

sapsa:
Its all depend of glass. No super new-tech glass =/= no future ?

The fun part is if the glass will really exist then where they put the battery in those cell phones ?!

Would be great to have that kind of technology but then again, what about bullies - those who break things for fun

Tatsujin:
Okay, I might be off topic and all but I'll share some of my ideas I discussed with my ex-co-workers.

Solving trash problems: Basically, having trash as the source of every-day energy. Specifically, for car usage and other mobility vehicles. So, one morning your up and your eating your breakfast. After your done, your wife decides to throw out the rest of what's left over and wants to throw the garbage out. You'd step in and say "WOMAN, that's energy for my car! Dont' throw it out! I'll do it myself."

Computers becoming supremely efficient in size, energy and power: Currently, our computers are ... well, they take some space in your room. Your computer, externals, speakers, monitors and whatever else you have. So in the future, your computer is going to be as small as a USB flash drive and with a click of a button, it would either unfold itself to be a simpler and easier computer to work with or it will display a hologram keyboard, mouse (probably?) and monitor. Your disk size will most likely be around 100 TB and you'll have a Core i200 running with massive amount of memory and a bad ass graphic card. All, within the size of a USB Flash Drive.

Androids: You've seen Hatsune Miku? We're guessing they're going to make an Android that can basically do what we order it to do or (B) act as humans but protect them when needed or (C) be just like humans with emotions. Eve no Jikan anime series is the best example I can probably come up with and closest. So is it a dream to see Hatsune Miku singing live on stage without the use of holograms or staying behind a glass? Sure. It's not out of question.

Holograms: We're close, but haven't achieved the holograms we all do in Hollywood or Anime. We still have yet to attain a fully modeled 3D that you can put your hand through and does no harm to you, but allows you to somewhat grasp the idea of it's a real 3D hologram that from whichever side you turn or go around you'll see it in full 3D. Can you imagine computers using keyboard holograms and monitors alike? I've yet to see real technology that does that (I heard they did with the keyboard holograms, but not sure).

And that's basically it.

AceHigh:
If some chick would start fingering a mirror in my bathroom leaving all those fingerprints, I would smack her.
