Anyway pretty excited about this and have good hopes they will do it justice
As they put in the "slinged by grabbed intestine" segment in Bakemonogatari's Suruga Monkey I don't expect they will leave out/change the

Didn't even watch Bakemonogatari so I guess I don't get much of the hype...

Parts of it I admired greatly, parts I laughed at till my sides were almost sore;
other parts I read with absolute sorrow,  because I think them utterly false and grievously mischievous...
Many of your wide conclusions are  based upon assumptions...

Keeping the 1080p animes for later until/if I get an HDTV... Even Clannad and all the famous animes in full HD are stalled for me.

AWWWWWWW YEAH!!! Can not wait. I've been anticipating this for a while; wasn't sure if they were going to do Kizumonogatari or not. Oh but it should be so amazing. I absolutely loved Bakemonogatari, and was pretty curious as to Shinobu's origins, especially with the whole opening sequence in the first episode with all the violence. Looks to be quite interesting indeed.

I heard it was delayed from 2012 to 2013, but I don't think they set a date yet.

Stuck in Development Hell, most likely because SHAFT can't stick to schedules when they need to, and perhaps also because the Madoka Magica franchise is the studio's biggest cash cow (it being their own property) and thus their top priority.

By the time the movie is shown in theaters, people might have forgotten all about it.
