Ok guys ... cut it out.

I'm thinking about getting either an Andriod or iPhone ... Since I have not seen a Nokia model that I like (currently still using a Nokia 7373).  But it's going to be at lease a year before I even buy one, cos of the A&T / T-mobile buy out.

Some people like having huge bricks in their pockets. I borrowed an iphone once when i wanted to make a call, that thing is not even comfortable to hold next to your ear. To me that is a huge design flaw... hell, samsung galaxy, HTC and all other phones that all look like a brick are shitty too, iPhone is not the only one.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

Don't even bother looking right now. the market moves so fast that in a year's time the iphone 6 will be out and the droid 4 will be out. So I would just wait and see what happens and like about 3 months before you upgrade get the research done.

He'll be back eventually, and he'll read all of our valuable replies.

You were right! This thread was an experiment to see if I could get a random group of people on the internet to do a bunch of independent research for me when I was too lazy to do it myself. I honestly haven't even looked at the links I put in the original post. Despite the thread derailing, it was moderately successful. Thanks to everybody who posted advice.

If you're wondering why it had to be one of these phones, it's because they are free phones. My family wanted to get on a family plan with AT&T so we all got free phones and are only paying 1/3 of the bill each. The decision to go with AT&T was their call, not mine. No other phones were an option because I just wanted a free one. When I arrived at the store, the VU was out of stock, so I went with the Solstice II.

In that case, it looks like you pretty much went with the poll results alone.

Well, yeah. Most of the thread turned into talking about the Ipod and Android. Those weren't even options, so I just went with the poll. Plus several people praised Samsung phones early on.
