Was in a small shop in a very small village, have no idea about the ingredients :P

Udon noodles are a bit special. I don't like the fat strings either, but udon is an exception XD

I personally prefer udon of the thinner sort. Although having a nice and hot udon of the thick sort can certainly be refreshing on a cold winter day.
