My favorite Twisted Metal has always been the first and second one.

I remember playing the first two when I was a kid, and probably the third one as well. The first one was good, but I think the second one polished off the concept a bit, even if I didn't like the levels quite as much. Should be interesting to see how this remake works out, though. I might have to cave in and finally buy a PS3.

Edit: Aw, crud. I spoke too soon. I thought it was a remake when I first read it. Owell, could still be interesting. I dropped it after TM3, so I don't know if they introduced flying, but the helicopter looks entertaining for PvP if it's selectable.

(click to show/hide)No brand loyalties here. I liked the PS2 > XBox, but liked the 360 > PS3, for the most part. Yet N64 > all, for me, b/c of Ocarina and Goldeneye. To each their own, of course. The PC's not a console, so I don't have to choose!  ;D

i bought a n64 and goldeneye and mariokart and goldeneye DOES NOT HOLD UP as well as some other games from older consoles.
Seeing as i set it up next to my snes and ps3 and xbox360 and ps2 i tried to judge it as objective as possible.

Things like forced inverted joystick are the devil

My claim that it was my favorite of all time might have been a bit farfetched, I suppose.

(click to show/hide)But forced inverted joystick? Couldn't you toggle that in the control settings? I don't remember how much customization Goldeneye allowed in that regard. It might've just been regular, inverted aim, and "Southpaw" variants for both. Not gonna argue the other point, though. I liked it, which was enough for me at the time. Plus I'm going off topic pretty heavily, now...
(click to show/hide)I loved the SNES. I didn't have many games for it, though, since I was younger back then.* But MAN was Secret of Mana my favorite game ever for its generation. That and Chrono Trigger. And, and... well, I didn't play Seiken Densetsu 3 or the FF games until years later, so maybe I can't count those.
*Redundant statement is redundant. Brought to you by the Department of Redundancy and Repetition Department of Redundancy and Repetition: Making sure you catch the important bits and don't miss them, either. (I know, I went too far there.)

I really need to work on not going off on tangents like these.  :-\

yea trust me when me and my friends put in golden eye the controls are quite awkward i think you can switch it off of inverted joystick but it makes all the other buttons absolutely retarded.

We said fuck it and switched to snes after a bit of mariokart64
SNES i have like 20+ games for. Although we usually stick to donkey kong country 2, super ghouls and ghosts, chrono trigger, super mario.

Other games lost a bit of their fun like offroad baja, madden 95, mortal kombat 1,2,3,3 ultimate and i think 4. Killer instinct, that clay fighting game with the snow man. college basketball, home alone, out of this world(always sucked) and many many more

I'm really excited about this game. The first one I had ever played was, TM3. Which at the time had amazing game play and graphics. Then eventually I went backwards and played 1 and 2 along with all the rest for console. TM is just a good game. I'm excited.

I have about 740 Snes games. I only play... like 15 of them though. lol
