Alienware vs Asus Gaming Laptop ?

i've been looking into getting my first laptop lately and i've mostly found that asus is good quality and alienware is overrated as far as gaming machines go.  sager/clevo custom built laptops are also very good.  dell xps are very good spec wise, but have a cheap plastic build quality.  like sitting inside a ford mustang.  macbook pro's have a high quality build to them, but are really expensive and a different operating system i'm not familiar with.  the lenovo x220 is the best small/light/powerful and well built laptop you can buy with an ips screen as an option as well, but the screen is only 12.5 inches.  what I would like is something like the mac air, but with a 14-15 inch screen, cheaper, and more powerful like the lenovo x220.  it doesn't exist.

what is your laptop's purpose anyway? if its just daily stuffs and not much gaming, find a laptop with AMD E350, it`ll fit your daily uses, it can game a few titles too if the res is below 1600x900, preferably 1366x768.

if its a gaming laptop, then what you`ll need first is to find out how high the quality settings do you need to play, the more quality you need the more juice you`ll need to invest to.
