I'm sure most of you guy tried to download some torrents with not a lot of seed with your computer turn on for ages (hopefully we don't have this problem on BakaBt

)

1/ Register on http://www.torrific.com

2/ copy your torrent download link:

3/ paste it on the torrific website and click get:

4/ click on initiate the torrent

You will need to wait a couple of hours to have your direct download link ready but if someone else has already upload the same torrent you will get the direct download link straight away

5/ Copy the direct download link in your favorite file manager ( jdownloader, fileget... )

Voila

Well I don't see the point of using it on BakaBt
torrific works on torrent tracker who doesn't required an access to download.
On BakaBt without registration you don't have access to all torrents only recent right?
So you better download the recent stuff on Nyaa or other open trackers and have a direct download link faster.

well I'm not posting that to cause trouble to BakaBt but it could help people who don't want to keep their pc on all time, who paid electricity bills , who used laptop, with a slow download connection ... btw this method is not new

Please feel free to delete my post if there's any problem, I don't mind at all.

Why does people talk about private keys? You find the torrent description page. Copy it. Log out. Go back to it. Copy the torrent url. No private key...

Well I tried that method before for demonoid it doesn't work
I've got this message on torrific :
Can't send torrent.
Non-registered visitors are limited to just a few torrent downloads per week.
To download the torrent you must register.

To be honest I assumed that it doesn't work on BakaBt or maybe only for torrents allowed for non registered users.

All torrents EXCEPT the newly released ones are allowed to non registered users. It will work for all of those, unless the client it uses to download things with is banned on the site.

The bolded part is exactly how BBT tracks statistics.

as dogsinafen has said, seedboxes are a safer and more permanent alternative, even if it costs money.

Do I understand this correctly? You give torrific the link to the .torrent file, they download the contents, and send you a link where you can download it directly.

I don't think that would be much use for BBT, but if you want to download something dodgy, like the master key for the PS3, it could be useful as long as you use a proxy.

That or underseeded torrents that may take forever to download. But considering most of our torrents download at amazing speeds I don't see it as particularly useful for most.
Also the fact it's a leecher service, I doubt that upon transfer they remain to seed those torrents - therefore harming the swarm further...

I think this is a great thing. I haven't looked into it deeply, but it sounds like a good idea. I have Comcast and they are starting to act like little bitches.
