Import duties must be pretty high then.  The steam price is within a few percent in all markets.

That is the console price, not the steam price. ^^

As for steam prices being the same on all markets, please... http://www.steamprices.com/eu/topripoffs

Yeah, I know.  Import duties don't apply to digital distribution, just to physical media.

I was referring specifically to the steam price for Portal 2.  The absurd international price gouging from most publishers on their steam delivered products is well known.

I saw it earlier when the timer was still on. Now it shows a funny message, then get you back on a new timer. Pretty cool :')
I wish I could get my copy earlier... But I guess I'll have to wait a bit more.

I've been collecting potatoes all weekend. The potato sack itself is totally worth it, if not for super meat boy, amnesia, killingfloor, and audiosurf. Toki tori, defense grid, rush, and the wonderful end of the world are pretty fun. Plus a free hat in tf2, and skin for portal 2 co-op mode.

Well that was an awesome game :)  Ending was really good, though I'd have to admit I was hoping for more (quantity) challenging puzzles.  There were a few that made me scratch my head, but I would have liked a few more.  Now I just need to try out the co-op.

From what I've read, co-op is supposed to be an entirely new campaign that is even more difficult.

I'm downloading Portal 2 right now, can't WAIT to dig in.

100$ for console games is common. Everybody in scandinavia accepts it too, which doesn't help... And nobody has the patience to wait for Amazon.

Because I feel like it.

while it usually takes 1 week or so, I think the wait is worth the money you save.

The reason it's 100$ now is just because the dollar is very weak right now. When the dollar was strong, games cost around 60$. The price has always been the same in our currency, though, so it's just the weak dollar which makes it sound much worse than it is. Yet we have always paid a lot more than americans.

Because I feel like it.

I heard on the PC version of Portal 2 that it says "Please do not turn off your console" while it's saving.... OUCH.

I finished Coop first, was really cool. They did an awesome job with how the coop has to be handled. But the "story" was pretty weak. Still a fun game to play with a friend. Now I got single player to complete.
