I haven't played 4 yet, but i have to agree, there are a lot of sexy females in this series, but Sophie was the best in both looks and gameplay, my second fav was I think her sister ? Cassandra ?
In SC3 if I remember Sophie is only a bonus character, still, their style of combat was pure kickass :)

IV killed the series for me.  That awful story mode was unacceptable.

Only reason why I liked IV was because of the (IMO) superior combat.  However I agree the story mode was nothing compared to IIIs.

I've loved the Soul Cal games thus far.  IV did have a disappointing story but they balanced out a bit more of the game play over III or II.  I'll probably buy V because it's the only good 3D fighter system out there, plus...even with a crap storyline, it's ALWAYS fun to beat the piss out of your friends for hours!
Huh?

Curse you! One day I shall be victorious! Even if I have to get you hammered first it will happen!

One thing I hope returns in 5 is the ability to modify your characters' stats.

I mean increasing str/life, etc by putting different looking pieces of equipment on them.

My astaroth spec'd for PURE dmg died in 2 hits but also killed in 3-4.  Was hilarious spamming his large range attacks like an asshole.

Plus...female nightmare = Hell yes.

I think somewhere there was an article about the ''boob-technology'' they used in IV. Fuck, they should include a document on that as an extra material in the next game.

I do hope the system turns out well, the pacing's going to be interesting. IV was pretty much 'Siegfried Calibur' to me ;D
I might even go with another character this time, even though he is included in the roster

I want a Voldo Calibur :( The guy's a beast, but nobody likes him
There must a be a reason for tanking things. And all must be in certain balance.
But what that balance is, must depend only on you, nobody else.

IV made me sad...

Maybe it had something to do with Yoda, Darth Vader, and Starkiller...

And Link?

Yeah, that stuff needs to not happen again.

Ever.

Seriously.

I liked the guest characters in SC2.  Link, Spawn, and the tekken guy all sort of fit in their own way...   But Jedi's just don't.
