It had been offered alongside Deli's OVA release, but was rejected. AFAIR, the rationale was that it is too "high profile".

The live-action movie seems to be licensed by Viz Media. It's distributed by Warner Home Video.

The old offer was granted two years ago, when other people were at helm here.
Or maybe I mixed the rejection notice up with another offer. Dunno.

That would be a different offer. DMC LA was rejected 1080p for not being of good enough quality. 720p was never offered I think.
