has anyone tried running windows 8.1 without activating it?
mine so far there isn't anything annoying other than this obvious watermark on the lower right corner.
plus there isn't any features disabled yet.

I'm not even sure if I saw an option to not activate it. It really wanted me to use a Microsoft account to log into my own computer...

once gates get kicked out of microsoft i bet they'd turn windows into a subscription based OS, not cool.

i hope all apps gets 100% compatibility with linux or something, so we could just f*ck windows all together.

Got a notebook today, the windows 8 is making me tear my eyeballs out. Haven't been this frustrated since Windows ME. I just have to look into drivers and see if I can install win7 on it instead.
