Apple Suing Samsung Over Galaxy Products

I find the whole technology industry hilarious when it comes to suits because EVERYTHING is pretty much copied from everyone else. There's really no one company that comes up with any of this stuff. I also find it humorous whenever Apple comes up with a suit since they've always been the worst offenders (Xerox/PARC anyone?).
Tablet computing has been around forever, but Jobs will still get money out of this because it's always cheaper to settle.

After reading this it actually reminds me of the big fight Apple had with Microsoft over their desktop icons.

Meh, one of these days Steve Jobs will have a good look at the GUI Windoze uses and fireworks will go off in his head, that is when you will really see the poo fly.
I've seen the interface that the original 'Apple Mac' used and the Windoze GUI is *so* similar it's not funny.
Look for screen shots of the two different GUI's and you will see what I mean.
From memory the first 'Apple Mac' was literally a 'beige box' that had the screen built into it and the OS was 'on chip', not like the early Windoze that needed DOS in order to even work.

Speaking of original, reminds me of en epic failure that OS classic was. The shit was so hopeless that Apple realized that unlike Microsoft they had no skills in making their own OS, so they resorted to Linux. ;D
GUI and icons... pretty much the maximum extent of Apple's capabilities when it comes to making an OS ::)
Back on topic: Asians have always copied the shit that is first made in the west, where all groundbreaking innovation and inventions are made. So nothing new here.
