Ok then, now I understand what you meant. However the only innovation I can think of that they have done is OS and packaging. After all, they don't actually produce the components.
However the crappiest innovation that they actually came up with is to have glass all over the phone just so it breaks easily... and it does, especially in temperature fluctuations. Obviously iPhone is not designed to be used in Norway and Canada because when it gets cold, glass and metal frame shrink differently.
Also Blackberry doesn't really feel like trying to get it's products outside US, does it? Never seen one, never seen any advertisement for one and never known anyone here who would own one.

I stopped reading at that point. Apple have enough spin doctors to make the news go away.
People buy Apple for the name not the quality of parts. If it breaks down before a month has passed, drink the apple kool aid.

Except the issue of the placebo known as "Apple care".
I'm not really a fan of Apple products at all. I concur the new macbooks got snazzy after a while, but using the actual OS just gets annoying after a while.
So I found a way to deal with life.
I hate Apple, but I know people run to it like fat kids to free bacon. So I bought the stock. That was totally worth it. iPhone 4? It's OK... I'm not overly impressed by it.

Innovation is not invention.
I live in Canada and I never saw any reports about glass breaking due to temperature variance. Drops, however, are far more common. Also, the glass sandwich design is more of a design choice than innovation.
BlackBerry is from RIM which is Canadian. BlackBerry products NEED carrier integration so it's somewhat harder to push(ha!).

ok ok we get the idea, just let them kill each other quickly, its not like we`d get any profit with them fighting, we'd actually suffer if they continue to fight >,>(products would get phased out sooner than later)
