Google and MSFT took a huge swipe at its resource pool. Apple found a way into biting the markup that Blackberry enjoyed for a while.
Could you explain in detail?
Waterloo campus. Google, Microsoft, Apple etc. All have their own main post secondary campuses they go to look for fresh hires. RIM's is Waterloo. Google and Microsoft went there to hire. Waterloo is already technically a small campus in population already.
Should read the case studies. RIM's main advantage was supposed to be the network. Not the OS, nor the phone.
Are we talking about the Blackberry Data Service Plan and the enterprise business server?[/quote]
Err, a combination. Through RIM's servers, there is a higher degree of privacy and ability to protect your data. (ie: Business data). Security is also higher. However, this also was somewhat a barrier to entry into the Asian countries where governments wanted to be able to access the data.
