This is exactly it. The thing I loved about the last episode is that Yuki finally mans up and does something about his fate. It is something which I've only seen maybe once before out of him, coupled with just massive amounts of whining about everything.

At this point it doesn't matter what he did, as this will come back at him soon I guess. He actually did the most pussy thing if you ask me. But that's Yuki. He could have done it differently but probably knowing Yuno he did what he thinks is best solution. Doesn't change the fact that she is a Yandere, and for that type of girl, even friends are meaningless. She even said it herself. This is just a temporary solution for Yuno, however i know how this story ends so I will not delve on it. His face when he did it was priceless :D and totally worth it :D
