Mirai Nikki (2011) | Future Diary (2011)
Havoc10K:
Best description fitting Yuuki and Yuno I found in Final Fantasy 7 when in the northern crater the gang is about to enter the crater's depths and all of a sudden Cloud says:
"Ok! Let's Moosey!"
followed by Cid saying something along this:
"Dude I can't figure you out, sometimes I don't know if you are brave and when I think you are cool you do something stupid like you just did (here referring to the moosey comment)"
So simply put, Yuno and Yuuki are smart and can do something cool, but they are simply acting stupid half the time while doing so. It brings out the suspense of the "WTF are they gonna do now?" so you can't really predict the next step this way because it would simply become boring. We know Yuno is more unstable than nitroglycerin in motion, and Yuuki serves as the stabilizing component for her psyche. We know very well that when those two work in harmony and sync they can achieve some really great things, but the moment they are distracted everything falls on their heads.
Show is great, people that don't read the manga will be pretty much in constant suspense every episode ends, and that's the best thing that an anime fan can get right now.
That's all there really is to it.
BronBron06:
Isnt she just too adowable
Havoc10K:
Yup, she is.
I have a feeling she actually is the legitimate daughter of the Gasai family, and that other girl whatever is the third skeleton. My guess though, however her look at Yuuki at the end of the episode made me wonder about her agenda.
Lord of Fire:
Interesting. So the Yuno we've seen is indeed the real Yuno, given that only the real deal would be able to open that vault door with her retina. I loved the look on Bacchus' face when the door suddenly opened, revealing her cutesy face. Talk about staring into the face of death. Question now is, how can there be two Yunos if neither one is an impostor (assuming Akise speaks the truth about the corpse's identity)?
And I guess Yukki changed because he had to, not because he wanted to. Deep down, he's still the same fragile kid we've come to know him as for over 3/4 of the series. I wonder if he can truly bring it upon himself to kill Yuno, which is inevitable.
Now that Deus is falling apart faster than expected, MurMur's plans (whatever they are) seem to be in jeopardy.
Havoc10K:
Remember that Akise only was able to identify the skeleton due to the tissue sample from orphanage, it all depends on who was really the owner of that tissue sample. It could be possible that there was a swap and the real Yuno was able to escape, enslave her parents as punishment for all the things they did to her and what she had to endure, exchange data (no one really knew Yuno was not Yuno Gasai or vice versa) and continue on as if she really was Yuno that lived in this place from the start. Or twins.
