You going to rewatch it for the gore?

The most iconic images of Mirai imo tend to be the goriest.  The second best death in the entire series is coming up soon, and it will require like half the screen to be covered in that mysterious blackness that keeps obscuring gore.

 I want to see them animated pretty badly.

Man I can't wait for the end. It's gonna be epic lolwut? worthy. Even if I have yet to read the manga, my suspicions seem to have been confirmed since the last few eps.

The ending is pretty good.  It won't be like your typical shounen affair where there's a lot of unresolved issues due to the fact that it's merely ending because the Mangaka's series got canceled.

There's a very good amount of closure.

(click to show/hide)Overall I was okay with how they showed Akise's death.  In the manga they showed his thought process with images for his last deduction about Yuno, and straight up showed the audience exactly who the fake Yuno is.  I think I prefer how the anime is handling it, I just hope that iconic image that revealed her identity is still shown as a sort of flashback or something.

Though I'm sad we didn't get to see the full view of his headless body walking forward.  It was a powerful image in the manga.

And with that, the 17th Angel-I mean-Akise Aru is dead.


Next episode everything should be laid out on the table, all mysteries will be resolved.
