i don't think maid cafes would do well really. too much competition. if you want western there's hooters and if you want asian there are the vietnamese coffee shops where the girls are dressed in lingerie. the only difference is that they don't call you 'master'

I wouldn't mind taking the "okaerinasaimase, goshujin-sama" part or the whole tsundere attitude(forced tsundere seems fake anyways)

You need girls with the right attitude and demeanor, which is most common in Asians, rarer in white women and even rarer in black women. But as long as they have it, it doesn't matter.

lols, if i ever get a fund i`m gonna start my self a computer cafe with a little snack bar, the theme is science lab.

example:

beaker for glasses instead of regular glass.

extra large petrifying dish as the plates.

scalpel as a slicing knife.

flask for the pitchers.

plastic version of laboratory stirring rod for coffee or drink stirrers.

test tubes for shots of wines or other drinks.

the fun part about these stuffs is that they can hold both hot and cold foods.
i could provide a small alchohol burner under the coffee drink to keep it warm or just a battery operated heater.

lol, we did that as school festival on 6th grade, 5years ago i think.

we used the old lab equipment and the lab itself for the cafe, we served coffee, tea, ice cream, breakfast dishes(ham and egg, bacon, etc.) and some minor fried chicken and soup.

black girls would need a white suit to be more noticable, white girls will need light purple of dark pink, asians would get the black version, if girls won't have manners, they won't have the job at all, proper attitude is a must, girls color is of no consequence, and multiple colors would actually increase interest.

That would turn the theme from chem lab to mad scientist lab.
And that reminds me, when my class did this, some idiot thought it would be fin to pretend he was drinking alcohol, so he took ethanol in a test tube and conveniently left it next to a bunsen burner. Next thing we know, the test tube's on fire.

I would agree. Making your own maid cafe you can't section off races. Besides, the wider variety of waitresses you have the wider variety of people you will attract. For example, I prefer slightly (only slightly) British ones rather than Asian.

Yes, I know that, considering that Poland is frequented by students worldwide (hell knows why though, is our university variety that good ?) it wouldn't be wise to not let everyone enjoy this idea, on another note, if I opened a restaurant with this theme (just maids and butlers stuff) I can expect this would be quite fashionable, but then holding special events wouldn't be advisable, good taste dresses for girls and suits for men workers, high quality food and drinks (not 5 stars or anything close, just good enough to enjoy the meals and stuff) could make it to be very high quality place, the ideas just pop in the head as it goes, but the lack of competition on this level would probably trigger a nice income for a longer time.

Anyway the other day there was this anime convention near the city in Sydney and then I saw people cosplaying everywhere. I was like "WOAH "
But I've never seen anything else that was anime related Would you guys think a maid cafe is better or a cosplay cafe? When I imagine them saying "Welcome back, Master" in any language other than Japanese it just sounds strange to me :/
