PDP PS3 Afterglow
« on: April 23, 2011, 07:22:37 AM »
I have just got a new CPU with win7 x86. My Dualshock3 and afterglow controllers are not being read by it. so I can't get the drivers for the controllers. If my PC would read them id have the ability to get the drivers but it's not.

I normally use Motionjoyx86 to get them going. Anyone know how to fix this problem or where I can get the drivers? I have searched for about 4 hours on this and have not found anything to help me out.

I can't find the driver's to install them. That's my biggest problem. lol
I only use the afterglow on my CPU. The PS3 one was just a test considering my old CPU could read both fine.

It's been done for quite some time now, but yes, this is indeed handy.

I assume this is done through BT then?

Can I do this as the same time as my BT mouse or does only one work at a time?

Do I have to use the USB cable to connect them to my computer or can I use bluetooth?

I used USB. If you have Win7 64bit the PS3 controllers don't work well... at ALL. There is a long ass way to get them to work that I wasn't about to do. So I just went out and about a Wired 360 controller. Worked right as it plugged into my OS. I was so happy! The new motion-joy does allow BT connection. That is one of the catches for a Windows 64bit user. You HAVE to use a bt connection to get your PS3 controller to work. It's RUBBISH!
