Child of Eden

Tatsujin:
Very beautiful game. Watch it in 720p. It's releasing on the 360 and PS3 this year.

TMRNetShark:
It looks like a rail shooter/visual music synthesizer. I like the pretty colors and all, imagine playing that game while on LSD or something... I would think that someone would freak out from all the colors!

Then again, now that I think about it, maybe this game will be bad for people with visual epilepsy.

HSSDamian:
What a strange game...

AceHigh:
This game has a very intriguing concept, however it is a spiritual successor of a game made by the same company called "Rez".

Here is a gameplay video of Rez:

What is interesting about Rez and it's successor Child of Eden is that a whole game is built around synaesthesia where sounds and visuals are in sync of what you do. It is a very refreshing concept and the game developer deserves my respect for not only creating a unique game, but also having a courage of not following the "safe, old and tried" formula that dominates the gaming industry today.

I must admit this game is not my cup of tea, nevertheless, the concept is awesome.

The only difference I see between Rez and Child of Eden is better graphics, which is a natural development considering Rez was made for last gen consoles.

So, Ace, the question is will you buy it to show your support of their innovation/risk taking?
