.
No.
I have an HTC Incredible, and often wish I didn't. It would have been nice as just a phone with a decent camera (meaning, better than the one it has now, which is a real disappointment), but everything else is so crippled that it borders on useless. Some features are great for when there's an emergency, like once in 18 months. But, since I don't play with it constantly, I don't have the investment in knowing how to utilize "emergency" services very effectively.
Screen is about the right size to manage phone calls & phone book, yet the interface still manages to make it more clumsy than my old Nokia cell phone. I could actually compose text messages at a reasonable speed with that; this Android interface is almost impossible, still, after nearly a year of practice. Forget email management & composition; complete waste of time.
As far as watching video content .... NOT. Totally unserious. I watch anime because I enjoy high quality artwork, which is 100% lost on a screen smaller than my palm. File management is insanely stupid to non-existant, and I'd have to re-download nearly everything I want to watch if I want to store more than about four episodes, at the expense of not having anything else. Rather have 4 GB of music. I'm never so bored that I need to watch something while not in my house, a little music is more than enough bonus and it lets me do other things ... like drive.
Movies and anime really require a minimum 1920x1080 monitor at 22 inches, with proper sound card & audio playback (real headphones, for example, so as not to rape my hearing); otherwise I'll find something else to do, like read a book.
Now, my Android actually might be useful for reading books, light novels, etc. Again, screen needs to be about 4x bigger, so if I had a true tablet I might be more interested.
