So, uh, anyone interested in a replacement for [G_P] Gunbuster?

So, judging by the comments on the G_P release not everyone's satisfied with the copy currently up. Screenshot comparison here.

So, the frames aren't quite lined up, but it gets the general idea across. Not sure how much of a difference there really is, but w/e.

Anyone interested? Y/N/M.

Southrop:
I couldn't see anything immediately different quality wise, but G_P seems to be a bit overcropped.

Some of the comments seem to be complaining about the subs and hardsubbed karaoke in episode 5, and out of sync subs in episode 4. Could you comment on how your release fares in these parts?

And for this screenshot, why is the top and bottom chopped off in your release?

anon32:
As far as I know, there are no problems in timing, and there are certainly no karaokes. As for screenshot 4, the last episode is present on the DVD in 16:9 and unmatted 4:3. If you look closely, it's clearly meant to be viewed in the cropped form as can be seen here.

Southrop:
I guess go ahead and offer it. A release that fixes the issues present in G_P is certainly welcome.

RedSuisei:
About G_P's Gunbuster, the last episode actually have 2 video tracks, one letterboxed (16:9) and one fullscreen (4:3). Also, G_P has more extras (though, I never really find the extras that important). Though I prefer the slight graininess in EtB's release though, fits these older anime more. Also, G_P has some onscreen texts typesetted that aren't present in EtB's, and karaoke (which I never find to be necessary). Personally, I'll get EtB and get the remaining extras from G_P just for the sake of completion.

Most probably this'll replace dp though.

On a side note, why is G_P's Gunbuster on B slot?
