Someone seems to not remember that when CoD Black Ops came out that it was shitty as hell to get a game going in multiplayer... PS3 owners played their hearts out. Every system has their problems, Sony just likes to piss off the wrong people? (Rhetorical question)

XD AHAHAHAHAHAH Stop, please! XD
The PS3 version of Black Ops didn't even work at launch! It had major performance issues, it froze, the frame rate dropped and it was close to impossible to connect to a game. The Xbox version had minor problems, but the worst of it was that connecting to a game took a little longer than it should.

Lol, I know that's not true because I went to the Mid-night launch of Black Ops and played it all night. Online was stellar.

I got Black Ops the day it came out and had no problems what so ever playing online or offline. You should probably get your facts straight before you post something. Especially with such dimwitted accusations about something you obviously know nothing about.

P.S. Not a PS3 fanyboy. I enjoy PS3 and 360 on a weekly basis.

You were saying?

MammalSauce:
I skipped like half of the thread because it quickly started to devolve into console wars bullshit(and still kind of is), so sorry if this has already been posted.

--- Quote ---Q: Was my credit card data taken?
A: While all credit card information stored in our systems is encrypted and there is no evidence at this time that credit card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility. If you have provided your credit card data through PlayStation Network or Qriocity, out of an abundance of caution we are advising you that your credit card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have been obtained. Keep in mind, however that your credit card security code (sometimes called a CVC or CSC number) has not been obtained because we never requested it from anyone who has joined the PlayStation Network or Qriocity, and is therefore not stored anywhere in our system.

So unlike our personal info, at least our credit card data was encrypted. Only makes me feel slightly less uncomfortable about the whole mess though.

If you have a PSN account, I recommend you read through that entire Q&A if you haven't already.

fohfoh:
Like I said... maybe it's just the mentality of being Canadian... but I wasn't really that paranoid about this in the first place. I've been in a few situations already where someone/company contacts me that there's been an info breach. Funny thing is, the person who has had to replace cards most often was my brother. Debit cards being replaced due to discovery of tampered debit/credit machines in places like large malls.

Online isn't without its hazards of course, but I'm not worried.

Plus, there's reports that xbox live is going to get HUGE influxes of new users running from PSN. Ok morons, xbox live 101. YOU HAVE TO PAY.

People are going to jump ship, sure. But not as drastic as some retards have been spewing.
