Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2, Icewind Dale 1 and 2, Drakensang: The Dark Eye, Morrowind, Arcanum, Diablo 1 and 2, Baldur's gate 1 and 2, Fallout 1 and 2 (the only good Fallout games) and I save the best for the last, the masterpiece of a computer RPG game: Planescape Torment.
These RPGs are not made for consoles, and nowadays nobody makes anything like them for PC either because nowadays games labelled as "RPG" are aimed at audience that barely have enough braincells not to drool on themselves at all times.

Yeah, like I said... how many RPGs are PC exclusives... cause you know... most of those games you've mention came out well before the current gen consoles, and the current king of the RPG realm is Mass Effect 2... but according to you...

Mass Effect games: shitty "hug the wall" context based controls, screaming "made for console!!!" as soon as you start to play.

Well, that's funny that you think that... since every other credible reviews of Mass Effect 2 makes it the best RPG of all time...
Do I agree with it? Hell no... at least I don't put my foot in my mouth about being credible or "having my opinion be superior in every way possible..."

--- Quote from: AceHigh on February 06, 2011, 03:44:45 AM ---I am proud to say that I imported my save game from ME1 to ME2. It changed som many small things, but gave a much better atmosphere in Mass Effect 2. All the small things like email from Emily Wong in which she nags for an interview because I promised her that in return for some cash in ME1, and Urdnot Wrex that gave me the warmest welcome thus making guards who hindered me shit bricks (probably...).
In any way the developers have said that being faithful to Ashley or Liara will be rewarded in ME3, and personally I had no problem staying faithful to Liara because of the Shadowbroker DLC which in my opinion had one of the most awesome missions in the game. Hell, in ME2 I even had Liara as a temporary team member... I just love the combat chatter between Shepard and liara when they kill waves of enemies while waiting for the device to crack the door open. They even put a reference to ME1 omni gel system ;D :
*Liara explains that the device needs time to break through the door security and they need to hold off the enemies*
Shepard - Remember the good old times when we could slap omni gel on everything?
Liara - Since those times securtiy was upgraded, pissed off a lot of people.
*after killing a few waves*
Liara - They would be more successful if they came in bigger force.
Shepard - Don't give tactics to the enemy.
Hell, for romantics out there, that DLC provided a romance better intergrated romance than what ME1 had for Liara. I so hope liara will be a permanent companion in ME3.
Besides I want to see if Joker and EDE will continue their borderline flirting relationship... Those two had the best dialogues in the game.
Also if ME3 is anything like Me2, then I should be rewarded with extra credits, xp and paragon/renegade points for just importing my savegame from ME2.
EDIT:
Oh and about how Tali looks under her mask, I say Quarians are like space elves... at least their faces are. Slim stature, eye shape and general facial features that you see through the mask... Quarians are Eldar in disguise.

As seen here: Notice the date difference
So I'm gonna go ahead and say that since you don't have a PS3, or use PSN, or even tell me of a recent RPG (Drakensang... wha's dat?) that is PC exclusive... to either stay on topic... or get out. We in here are discussing PS3 related problems (and this goes for everyone)... if you want to start a PS3 vs any thing else... get out as well. Start your own thread and see what happens.
Back ON TOPIC: Press conference tomorrow from Sony about the situation. Maybe we just might be able to play Mortal Kombat and Portal 2 online now! :D
Dian:
they having a conference right now (10:40 pm westcoast) right now yo

Fine, 2 new ones as an example: The Witcher and The Witcher 2 which is released this month.

If you don't believe that your opinion is superior, then why have it as your opinion? Yes my opinion as I believe is superior because if it wasn't, I would have formed another one. That is why it is an opinion and not a fact.

You mad? Ok people, let's talk about Xbox vs PS3 because it pisses off TMRNetShark. ;D
Also Drakensang is a PC RPG adaptation of Das Schwarze Auge RP system which is very popular in Germany, however I don't expect an Ameritard to know of anything that is outside of the bounds of his state. ::)

Witcher 2 is on console though, and the original is probably going to be called last gen. The issue isn't so much a lack of PC RPGs, but more the fact that PC gaming is on the decline from what it used to be. In general, console is quite on the rise and PC exclusive may not be a term in use in the future.
AceHigh:
No, it's not confirmed. It was hinted that it may be released on consoles, but there is a release date on PC, no date or confirmation for any console. Most likely they will port it to console after it's released on PC.
