Dian:
Sony is apparently giving everybody 30 days of Play Station Plus when PSN is back up yo.

Meomix:
Haaahahahahahaha. I can't wait for the class action lawsuits to shoot that up to 2 years.

These RPGs are not made for consoles, and nowadays nobody makes anything like them for PC either because nowadays games labelled as "RPG" are aimed at audience that barely have enough braincells not to drool on themselves at all times.

You know, jRPGs are called jRPGs precisely because they are not your regular RPGs. They focus on storylines and characters while cRPGs focus on freedom and unlinearity. And that is why for me jRPGs utterly destroys cRPGs. I like good stories and characters and while freedom in taking next action is a nice thing, cRPGs do it really shitty compared to paper RPGs. The only cRPG that can fight on even grounds with jRPGs is Planescape: Torment (Deus Ex was close and I still have to play System Shock 1&2 so can't say for sure).

Btw. Morrowind and Diablo were released on consoles.

Oh, and if you refuse to call jRPGs RPGs then please don't call Diablo 1&2 RPGs :P

PS. The Witcher probably won't be seeing consoles (at least until The Witcher 2 is released) and while devs wanted to make sequel for consoles they had a lot of troubles with it and as of now the decision about it is on hold (at least until The Witcher 2 is released on PC). So I wouldn't be optimistic about it.

Sosseres:
Witcher 1 was using Biowares Engine from NWN, an engine so old that there probably was nothing built into it for compatibility with this current generation of consoles. It was also designed and realised as a PC engine, so I can understand that it is hard to port.
