XviD4PSP Re-Encoding Error?
« on: April 26, 2011, 03:17:36 AM »
I am having some trouble re-encoding two files.

I am using XviD4PSP Build 5.037, and I keep getting the following error message.....

"FFmpeg Source: Can't create decompressor: Unsupported Compression Method"

Please tell me how to fix this?

You can grab the two files below.

Use another source filter like DirectShowSource.

Use another source filter like DirectShowSource.

How can I change XviD4PSP so it uses DirectShowSource instead of FFmpeg?

(I only get this error when I try to open up those two files for re-encoding)

For most files, ffmpeg should be able to open them fine.

But yeah, use Directshow/draw source instead and it should run fine.

If I remember correctly, xvid4psp can use avs scripts as well. Manually create one up and use that?

I have no idea how to crate an avs script, let alone a working one.....
