Nvidia Licenses SLI to AMD, Did Hell Freeze Over?

too many quote chains.
anyway, on GPUs, if AMD gets a hold of physx i`d gladly become an AMD fan =D but still, on Processors, Intel still has some sweet spot, like super low idle states and a decent performance even with the low ends. if AMD fails to overthrow intel with their bulldozers then i`m still sticking with intel, not to mention ivy bridge is coming soon too which is 20% faster than sandy bridge as wiki says. is there anything amd is hiding that is more interesting than bulldozers right now?
if bulldozers were half of intel's price and performs the same then thats a win~

considering most games don't utilize physics heavily or even use physx engine, it's a big waste of licensing cash for AMD.

if AMD is hiding something, it's benchmarks benchmarks benchmarks. This is very similar to how they launched clawhammer almost a decade ago--very little info. They even altered the benchmarks back then to make it look like it's under performing. quite the oposite of how they launched phenom

ahahaha yea, i hated intel for being too expensive, i hated amd for being old and doesnt support sli, amd hasnt launched anything for the past few years with a few exceptions, bulldozer took a loooooong time just to even get announced, now we're still waiting for "it" to be retailed. i`m always short on cash, it takes me months to save up some good amount, so i always tend to do at least dual cards, to save some initial expense on cash.
i got my eyes on HD 6670, cheap and neat, plus it scores wicked on HQV, good replacement over my GT240 for the gaming HTPC =D
if bulldozer's mainstream matches intel's mainstream under 200$ then that`ll be worth the wait.

Unfortunately Intel is killing AMD at the $200 point right now. The i5 2500k is at least as good as any Thuban in heavy multitasking and is far better in games and anything that uses 4 cores or fewer, all while drawing a lot less power. And a decent P67 board costs no more than a decent 870 or 880G board while also giving you the option of SLI.

thats the reason why i`m still clinging to intel =P and only that reason.
BUT i still am using my AMD rig =D namely Athlon II X4 640 XD its my only quad with an HD 4770.
