i loled, misread the title for this:
well anyway, sounds like driver or OS problem, try updating every single driver, if that doesnt solve it, try reinstalling your OS.
you need to say the FF:
- Your OS name and version
- Utorrent name and version
- Computer Specifications like Processor, motherboard model and etc.(might be your PC itself has the issue, ie. using a sandybridge without the B3 motherboard, seriously dangerous)
- Anti-Virus name(if you dont have one then "you know what" is killing your PC)
- Are you using Raid? which type?

I think I'll quote this, since I have very bad experiences with I/O-device errors. I've had it twice, and twice my HDD died!
So if you keep getting weird errors that might be disk related, you'll have to check your HDD (diagnostic tools, simple Windows chkdisk is kinda useless in such a case).
Common errors are corrupted files, HDD making ticking sounds, constant showup of windows chkdisk when you boot up.

Or, your HDD is overheating. Which is the more common cause. Open up then case, get a fan blowing on it and try the same. If you have games or other I/O intensive stuff running, pause and retry.
If all else fails, what the folks above said. A RMA is the absolute last option.
