理想 【りそう】 risou: ideal; dream;
(click to show/hide)
/danmaku: What, what?! Of
course
it's a word! That's like saying "Cirno" or "nine" isn't an adjective!
/serious: I'd consider it fairly solidified at this point. It has a recognized meaning, after all. Probably best to avoid anything too obscure, though.
/rippa: I think he actually meant 雷, which I did post about a page ago. Not really a big deal, though, as long as it doesn't happen too often. The main issue is variety and repeating chains, IMO.
/syllables vs. kana: I'd consider them two kana but a single syllable. The latter relates to sounds, and the former the symbols used to represent said sounds.

Adverbs like this are allowed, right? There's no mention of them in the OP, so I'm assuming yes, since adjectives are allowed now.

ときめき tokimeki: palpatation, throbbing
(click to show/hide)
Wonder if someone can confirm if this word can accept the meaning of "fluttering" as well, since the definition of ときめく has "to flutter" as one of its meanings.

紙 【かみ】 kami: paper
(click to show/hide)
/homophones:
I really hadn't thought about it. If it's actually a different word, I don't really mind. Partially due to the vocabulary issue, and partially because, well, it -is- a different word, after all.
/repeats:
Technically a repeat should probably be considered a loss, but with the game moving so slowly I'm not sure it would necessarily be a good thing to enforce the rule that strictly.
Honestly, my "rules" tend to be more guidelines than anything else, even in general. If it doesn't happen too often I'd just as soon let it slide, anyway. Obviously I'm not the only one here, though, so if participants felt strongly enough I'm sure the rules could be enforced more strictly.
