how to tell if youre an otaku

If he/she doesn't respect your interests and expects you to give them up for him/her even if they don't affect him/her in the least, then I'd suggest getting the fuck out of that relationship. He/she ain't worth it.

Totally true, I never said one party should be pushing its hobbies onto the other ^_^
Respecting your gf/bf's interests doesn't have to mean enjoying or approving of them.

damn, I guess I'm not an otaku. the only thing that comes to my mind when I look at that picture is Haruhi Suzumiya.

I know it's a seifuku but I don't remember it from haruhi.(If you are having this discussion, you are definitely an otaku)
