Without a good singleplayer, I probably won't buy it.

I loved how the black ops campaign tied in with the World at War one.  That was brilliant.

WaW wasn't bad either on par with a bunch of mediocre stuff like sector 8 but BO was actually a bad game. CoD will survive for at least 13 games. Too bad it's not the sort of FPS I like

Universally =/= personal experience... Saying that people have universally stopped playing BO is not even close to fact.

Anybody who likes BO, and has played the previous CoD games really has a twisted opinion on what makes a game good.
I don't play CoD for singleplayer though, so I don't care about the singleplayer of mw3 or any CoD.
IW's games have all been great, but mw2 got ruined by lacking post launch support. Treyarch has post launch support(for BO), but their games just feel horrible, and they always try to make big changes which always backfires(except zombies, but I'm really talking about the online MP).

Does anybody have an opinion on the new styles they have put on the weapons? They seem to be putting a lot of effort into making the weapons look modern & complicated, like adding all the accessories and a small bag to the AA-12. :/
Plus the new lighting effects look amazing.  ;D

MW3 pre-order poster features made-up Time cover

GameStop’s outed a double-sided poster for Modern Warfare 3 as a pre-order bonus for the shooter, which features an actual Time cover based on the game.

One side of the poster will feature the cover art for the game, whilst the other side is masked by the retailer in a promotional email sent to those involved with PowerUp rewards, But a Joystiq tipster sent an image of what it looked like.

The poster cover references ongoing events in its story, as well as events that happened from the end of Modern Warfare 2.

UK retailers started taking pre-orders for the shooter earlier this morning. The game will launch on PS3, 360 and PC on November 8, although the date hasn’t been formally announced by Activision as yet.

they already released the official site
http://www.callofduty.com/mw3/map.html

and the world premiere trailer will be on May 23...

the feedback for MW2's multiplayer has motivated IW for better support of the sequel...

bloody000:
59.99 for a re-re-rehashed game with a 5-hour campaign and blind date multiplayer full of 13-year-old retards who will scream "h4x0r" every time you kill them. Have fun.
