An article came out recently saying that developers are finding it's easier (for multiplatforming) to start developing for the PS3 and then port it to the Xbox 360... I'll edit when I find the article.
EDIT: It was LA Noire's team that found this to be the easier solution.

Against Battlefield 3, it doesn't look as good. Personally happy it seems I'll be able to run it. Though would probably bitch if I had a gaming rig.

Graphics are secondary, if it looks reasonably un-ugly, runs fast, I'm fine with it (I'm looking at you, CPU bound BlkOps). Stuff like the horrid killstreak system, the campers attracted by it and a player community full of pre-teens are far bigger problems.

Really? You didn't like picking your Killstreaks? I think it's a blast and nothing is more fun than taking out a whole team holed up on one side of the map with Napalm Strike. I mean, it's a pretty cool system that pushes people to get more kills and really rewards people for being good at the game. To each their own I guess.
Campers? Do you honestly think Spec Ops or terrorists or any other type of military foot based squad is gonna be running and gunning? I doubt it, campers are SMART people because they take the chance of staying still versus having a split second before the runner at shooting at you. If you hate campers so much, check your corners... the maps aren't that hard to figure out firing lanes and good camping spots. Hell, try camping yourself, you might get some higher killstreaks. ;)
A player community filled with pre-teens? That's one of the main appeals in an online shooter, you know why? Because their parents had to have bought the game for them which means their spoiled brats who are usually talking non-stop on their mics. This means less-than-smart adults argue with them about stupid shit and the good players rub it in the kiddies' faces when they owned them. It makes for good entertainment.

Ahhh, I can't stop laughing. So no, please for the love of god... do *NOT* take away the unintentional comedy of kids getting owned. I won't say I'm stellar at the game either, but I at least have fun playing the game and I don't get mad at the game (but I like it when OTHER people do!).

Killstreaks are dumb.
With the perfect combination I won a match in under 2 minutes because it was the race to 10 kills without dying.
Little shits are annoying, not funny. If I wanted to get a kick out of it I'd go watch a video of them getting raided on Stickam while people start calling his home phone, ordering pizzas to his house, and threatening him while he cries in front of 300+ viewers.
Black Ops was a complete waste of money, won't be making that mistake again.
