While you can't get rid of camping, you can get rid of things in the game that possibly make people camp more. I would be happy if they took out perks and some equipment items, particularly (from Black Ops) Last Stand and Motion Sensor. The first doesn't have to do with camping but it's annoying for obvious reasons.
Pretty much what I'm saying is you can't change the players, but fixing exploits and what those players can use should (hopefully) change some aspects of the game environment.

Good example of not being able to fix it... Halo 2. TONS of campers. There were no perks/killstreaks/etc that was in Halo 2 multiplayer... yet people still played the SHIT out of that game. I would rather have more stuff in there to distinguish play styles than giving everyone the same starting weapons when you respawn.

Camping only works against players who run predictable routes. If you get killed by a camper it's your own fault. If you know where there is a camper, and you can't get around him, just throw a tactical grenade.

Let them bitch about campers. I particularly will camp for 10 to 20 seconds, get bored, and continue running. I still get in the Top 3 even when I don't even camp at all... They just want people to play THEIR way when clearly it's all about playing with people.
