E3 of 2011 [6.7.2011]
Hiero:
New Dark Souls demo + interview. Even though there's not a HD video the graphics look refined and amazing. October 4th needs to hurry up.
The online play will be what I'm looking forward to and how they revamp it.
Tatsujin:
Reggie explains why only the WiiU controller was shown today.
E3: On the edge with Uncharted 3′s single-player.
Gangster301:
I was really relieved when I read that the Wii U controller would be single-touch. Like a lot of people, the price of the controller made me skeptical, but since it's single-touch, I doubt it will cost more than 100$ here. I suppose Americans will get them for ~60$.

Wrong. A PS3 controller is still $55. That controller with all that it has will ATLEAST be $150, even with a single touch screen. I do understand that having multi-touch would make it more expensive, but most touch screen devices sold today DO have multi-touch.
Also:

He better deliver on that visuals part, because if it can deliver on great visuals... it will deliver on gameplay dynamics and physics that the PS3 and 360 both have, then it will be on par with them (if not surpass). The controller on the other hand is an after thought in my mind. The only think it can really do for me (which I honestly will buy this WiiU if this will be implemented) is that you can play an MMO on this.
Think about it, imagine playing WoW or another MMO with that controller. You move around with the two joysticks, you select targets with the aiming mechanic of the target and pull one of the trigger or bumpers... and best of all... you can have all of your ten to twenty abilities right on the screen for you to select. Wouldn't that really bring in hardcore gamers then?
Good idea, right?

E3: Undivided House – SCEE boss open and optimistic.
It’s an aggressive approach to cost reduction, which is obviously a priority for the consumer electronics industry and has been historically, and you’re seeing evidence of that, as I said, with the 3D monitor that we announced. To me, any perceived resistance towards glasses has to be counterbalanced with a real tangible entertainment benefit. Speaking personally, I think the idea of being able to remove split-screen and have a sort of dual view via glasses – that’s pretty magical if you’re a gamer, particularly if you’re into first-person shooters.
Yes, glasses are necessary for the 3D experience. From what we understand at least, I don’t think a glasses-free solution is terribly feasible, at least in the short term, but if there’s a very cool entertainment benefit to having them, hopefully people will put them on.
So PS4 is going to be 300-400 dollars too, yes? Not 400+? ... Okay?
Clearly Nintendo feels the same way. Do you think that’s going to be a battleground? Do you think the Wii U and the connectivity between Vita and PS3 will be seen as an equivalent feature?
I don’t think I understand the Wii U proposition sufficiently to be able to answer that question.
Does anybody?
You just made my day!
Lol, yea I'm not purchasing Wii U. I'll invest my money in PS Vita.
E3: Xbox UK’s McGill: ‘We’ll never leave the core behind’. Interesting read. They need more original 1st party games thou.
“Gears of War is massive. Forza is massive. Halo is massive. These franchises outsell PlayStation’s first-party lineup.” -- Halo is expected. Gear is second ... but Forza? Fucking seriously? ... I lol'd.
