I lol'd at the whole thing. Halo got old after the 3rd game and I don't understand why people are so excited for the 6th one now. Gears of War is one of the great exclusives that I'm sad to not see on the PS3. Funny thing is, Gears isn't a first party game yet he's saying that it is. So if he thinks those three games that only Xbox 360 has outsells Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, Killzone, God of War, Little Big Planet, AND Resistance. Wait, doesn't that mean the PS3's lineup is more diverse? The Xbox 360 has a shooter, a shooter (which isn't even a first party game), and a racing game. The PS3 has an adventure/platformer, adventure/shooter, shooter, adventure/hack&slash, platformer, and shooter... all of which ARE first party games. So is he talking out of his ass? Maybe a little bit.  ::)

Anyways, I reserved my copies of Shadow of Colossus & ICO, MW3, and BF3 all yesterday. It seems anyone I talk to about the two latter games agrees that BF3 looks better than MW3. Here's to hoping!

PS3 has a lot more exclusives than what the 360 can dream about and more creativity for fuck sakes. Halo is either hardcore gamers, fans or biased players - and of course the majority of them are kids. Gears I have nothing to say, it is a good game. Forza 3 only sold 4.8 million copies in a span of a year and 2 months, while GT5 sold over 6 million in four months - as of March 2011. So what was that again Microsoft? Spat your shit somewhere else and eff it. Oh yea ... Did you read what they said when they asked them about PS3 and PS Vita having 3D capabilities and what about Xbox 360?

Speaking of new stuff, Sony’s hopping aboard the 3D bandwagon and showing no signs of looking back. They’ve even got a PlayStation-branded 3D TV bundle, which is apparently “affordable” for people who drive gold-plated rocket cars. Is 3D something you’re hoping to really push with the Xbox as well? Do you think 3D’s the next HD, or is it just a passing trend?

I’m not going to speculate where the market will go over the next couple years. But from the 3D point-of-view, I think it’s up to consumers to choose what they want.

“Gears of War is massive. Forza is massive. Halo is massive. These franchises outsell PlayStation’s first-party lineup.”

The Xbox 360 does 3D. It has for a long time. If developers want to do 3D, they can. So it’s not a case of “Xbox isn’t doing 3D.” We do it. It’s down to developers to decide what’s right for their particular game and story. So that’s a choice. And it just so happens that with the franchises we’ve got, it’s not what we’re about at all. But the choice is there for developers absolutely.

I haven't been keeping up with 360's market. Are there any 3D games that are "worth" playing on the 360? ..... And since when the 360 can do 3D for a long time? ....

Sony: “A lot more headroom left” in PS3, says it’s not “slipping behind the times”.

Half of Soul Calibur V’s roster will be new fighters.

Far Cry 3: Watch the E3 demo here.

Quick Shots: New screens of Uncharted 3 finally released - ... Wow ... <3 Uncharted!

The Walking Dead to be based on comic series, star man and little girl -- Really cool new game. Seems like it's only on PC. Check out the story through the link.

Quick Shots – Silent Hill: Downpour shots show more gloom and doom.

As you can see, a lot more games. In terms of actual games worth playing on each system? I have no idea. I do plan on getting that $500 3D TV deal if no other companies are going to be pushing for developing glasses-less 3D TVs in the next 2 years or so.

Like a lot of people, the price of the controller made me skeptical, but since it's single-touch, I doubt it will cost more than 100$ here. I suppose Americans will get them for ~60$.

Wrong. A PS3 controller is still $55. That controller with all that it has will ATLEAST be $150, even with a single touch screen. I do understand that having multi-touch would make it more expensive, but most touch screen devices sold today DO have multi-touch.

Wrong? What's wrong?
Is me doubting I will have to pay more than 100$ wrong? I don't see how a doubt can be wrong...
Is me supposing that americans will get it for around 60$ wrong? How do you know? THINK before you speak(type).

I see portable dvd players with 2 screens go for 100$ here. The Wii U will come out in one and a half year(that's a long time in tech), and it's only one screen. Sure, it's got a weak camera, and it's an old tech touch-screen, but I still see it costing 100$ or less for me.

Learn to read. If a PS3 controller is still $55... I'm pretty sure Nintendo is gonna sell a controller with a TOUCH screen in it for under $100 ANYWHERE. My thoughts were as clear as a sunny day. If you think so otherwise, prove it with... OH WAIT... you can't. Neither can I prove my point, but at least it's safe to say they won't sell that controller for under $100.
