Bakemonogatari [Coalgirls]1920x1080_Blu-Ray_FLAC

It seems that the subs are missing from episode 15 of both versions of this torrent.

I also downloaded the 15 episode from the 1280x720 coalgirls version of Bakemonogatari and again found myself minus the subs.

No matter what I did, I couldn't get them to come up for episode 15.

I use KMP on Win XP (sp3) just for your info.

All other episodes performed as expected.

Eventually had to download episode 15 from Bakemonogatari [XviD H.264 FLV4] [Koharubi][gg][pem] in order to complete the series.

Hoping it's just me and not the torrent.

double checked my copy of coalgirls 720P release and it has subs.

Wonder why?

I didn't change any settings or anything from ep 14 to ep 15...but no subs.

I'll work this out eventually and get back to you.

Hmm, had a thought and tried it out.
It seems that for whatever reason, my current copy of KMP doesn't like ep 15.
However, when I played ep 15 in 'Windows Media Player', the subs came up just fine. Odd that.

Better control. I'd use KMPlayer over MPC any day if it weren't for the looks.

I've used KMP pretty much since I started to watch anime on my PC and it hasn't failed me.... until now.

I don't plan on changing just because it messed up once.

Problem sorted.

Following a suggestion from AL_Sleeper via my review thread,

Have you tried turning internal subtitle renderer off in KMP?

I went looking for the appropriate setting and, with the help of Goooogle, which eventually led me to    here --> http://wiki.bakabt.me/index.php/KMPlayer, located the setting he was talking about.

Having turned that setting 'off' (see image ), everything was good.

Actually, no, I didn't think the wiki would have that particular information available.

It is however where I got the idea of using KMP from in the first place, so I have read some of it, even though it was a long time back.
