I MEAN, ideally, I would try to get an auto-turret like they have in Kino Der Toten. Put that at the top of the only stairwell up to the 2nd floor of where I live until enough zombies are distracted. Open a window to sneak out (for nonly 250 points) and head straight for the local gun shop. Ready as many guns as I can, because reloading will be a bitch. Once we get the all clear, the ACME will become our fortress. We have everything we need within a 1 minute sprint's distance. Hardware store to the southeast, a CVS pharmacy to the east, a gun store and a cop station to the northeast, an STP to the north, an entire backup and main lots of a Car Sense (used car retailer) to the west, a major highway to anywhere to the southwest, and finally... a Wawa to the south.
We will rebuild society in a Fallout 3 fashion... if we don't get that far and I happen to be the last one left running away... Three Mile Island is like an hour or two walk from the ACME... I'll let it go nuclear and take out as many of those fucking zombie as I can. Of course I would try and distract as many as I can to follow me... lead them right into the water so they either drown or can't move until they get radiated!

Pfft, you obviously don't know what you're talking about. Depending on what map we're talking about I'd wait till around round 3 before I even start USING my pistol. After cleverly dodging and luring zombies around in the first room, I'll open up whatever door has a good automatic, or if it's Ascension, I'll just try to head straight to the box. After doing so, I'll find my usual "hang out" spot, depending on the map, and just rack up kills, wait till around 10 with whatever weapon I have (If I feel like I'll get run over, I usually just get whatever gun is available off the wall) Be sure to get Juggernaut ASAP
After which you gotta get started on the teleporters, if the map you're playing has them, or the landers(if Ascension). But before that, gotta remember to have some decent weapons. I'd say my ideal set up would be upgraded raygun(more ammo), H115 Oscillator, Juggs, speed cola, double tap(replace with staminup if Ascension), and PhD flopper, if not available quick revive.
I'll probably stall for as long as possible then start running around the map. The key to surviving in almost all the maps on solo, is you CANNOT STAY IN ONE PLACe.
Oh wait.

Guns and night-vision are probably harder to get from Fin but otherwise everything else is peace of cake for stealing
