zombie survival

I'd go to the small university near here, lock myself in with the metal barricade doors - and wait out a couple of months. I'd bring my solar power converter, laptop, and external HD. The cafeteria is bathroom adjacent with a large freezer with a variety of food - rationed it should take a while even if the freezer runs out of power. Even if it takes longer than what I have, there is an greenhouse managed by the biology/agricultural studies department. Not even mentioning the large amount of livestock within easy reach.
Honestly, Canada is a great place to be for zombie outbreaks, lots of room and very few people. Along with an abundance of salvageable food and survival/camping supplies. We should mention it more in our pitch to tourists.

i feel like most zombie movies underestimate just how many bullets there are in any place that can readily have guns.
Seriously i think a zombie apocalypse just wouldnt happen in some place like america where you can get assloads of bullets and guns and there are military bases all over for people to go to. Really its only in big cities where you would get fucked purely because of congestion while fleeing to said military bases

If it was like Black Ops Zombies, some slow, some fast, some added along with it... my strategy would go like this.
Use my pistol and knife til round 3, then get an M14 and stay in the same room until level 5... oh wait.
I MEAN, ideally, I would try to get an auto-turret like they have in Kino Der Toten. Put that at the top of the only stairwell up to the 2nd floor of where I live until enough zombies are distracted. Open a window to sneak out (for nonly 250 points) and head straight for the local gun shop. Ironically enough, there is a hardware store not even half a block away that sells plasma cutters so that it is easy to get into the gun shop if it's locked. Ready as many guns as I can, because reloading will be a bitch. Once I know I have atleast 300-1000 cartridges of ammo between however many survivors, just start kiting a little, shoot a couple in the head, kite a bit more... until the 100-200 some odd people who could be infected in my town are dead. Once we get the all clear, the ACME will become our fortress. We have everything we need within a 1 minute sprint's distance. Hardware store to the southeast, a CVS pharmacy to the east, a gun store and a cop station to the northeast, an STP to the north, an entire backup and main lots of a Car Sense (used car retailer) to the west, a major highway to anywhere to the southwest, and finally... a Wawa to the south.
We will rebuild society in a Fallout 3 fashion... if we don't get that far and I happen to be the last one left running away... Three Mile Island is like an hour or two walk from the ACME... I'll let it go nuclear and take out as many of those fucking zombie as I can. Of course I would try and distract as many as I can to follow me... lead them right into the water so they either drown or can't move until they get radiated!
